Young runners represent NE SSP at Norfolk School Games Cross Country Finals
On Wednesday 22nd November a squad of 80 pupils represented the SSP at the Norfolk School Games cross country finals at High Lodge in Thetford Forest. It was a beautiful autumnal day and the conditions for cross country were perfect.
The Norfolk School Games aims to put physical activity at the heart of schools and provide all young people opportunities and experiences that can make a meaningful difference to their loves. The SSP squad for the cross country finals comprised of pupils from Years 3 to 6 from 12 different schools. All of the pupils had qualified for the finals by finishing in the top 10 positions at our SSP cross country competition at the UEA Sportspark on the 13th of November.
The qualifying pupils came from the following schools :

Dussindale PS
Fairhaven PS
Falcon JS
Hemblington PS
Old Catton JS
Salhouse PS
Sprowston JS
St Williams PS
White Woman Lane JS
Pupils raced a round a course through the beautiful Thetford Forest over the following distances:
