Norwich East SSP events will be designed around the following themes in order that we can offer pupils, in all of our Primary & Secondary settings, relevant & meaningful opportunities in Sport & Physical activities to encourage healthy & happy lifestyles in school & beyond.
ENGAGE : These events are normally non-competitive festivals, carousels or come and try events designed to inspire young people through positive, active experiences. These events may have been designed to target specific groups of young people who may benefit the most from being involved.

DEVELOP : These events will have a strong emphasis on the School Games Values and will primarily focus on supporting the development of physical, personal, emotional, and social health.

To foster social connections
To develop physical skills
To increase confidence
COMPETE : These events are for pupils who are competitive in nature and enjoy performing and competing against others. Events will be developed and delivered using the School Games principles of competition ensuring SMILES for all.

To develop sport specific skills
To develop character and life skills
To support individual development in sport
