Teach Active are now delivering Active English Workshops following the great success of their Maths of the Day training sessions.

These workshops are allowing Youth Sport Trust and Teach Active to upskill thousands of teachers in the benefits of Active Learning across the curriculum – contributing to their 60 active minutes and make a real difference to thousands of children across the UK.

The workshops look at the evidence, research and UK wide school impact of introducing physical activity in to both Maths and English lessons. They will provide teachers with practical ideas on how to raise attitudes and attainment, whilst also increasing levels of physical activity. The session is both theory and light practical.

Information for delegates schools attending:

• We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear

• Each school can send a maximum of x2 qualified teachers (PE/ Maths/English Lead or SLT)

• Schools can use their PE & Sport Premium to release teachers for this CPD

• Each delegate with get access to free resources to use back in school (Foundation to Year 6)

The cost of this course is normally £150.00pp - but will be no charge for attendees from Norwich East SSP schools .
