*Aim

To provide candidates with the knowledge and expertise to deliver emergency first aid in the work place.#

*Learning Objectives

Describe your actions in an emergency

Demonstrate adult resuscitation

Demonstrate the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)Explain the management of adult choking

Demonstrate the management of the unconscious casualty

Describe how to recognise and treat bleeding and shockExplain the treatment of minor injuries

*Certification

Successful candidates will each receive a HABC personal display certificate, valid for 3 years

*Accreditation

This course is accredited by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC)

 

The course covers:-

The role of the first aider

Primary survey

Communication 

Choking 

Asthma

Head injuries

Bone, Muscle & Joint injuries

CPR

Unresponsive casualty treatment

Seizures

Severe allergic reaction 

Minor & major bleeds

Administering medication at school

The course starts at 9am and will finish by 4pm (attendees should provide their own lunches please).

The cost of this training is £45 per person.
