 Golf Xtreme Workshop

Thursday 6th November, City Academy Norwich, Bluebell Road, NR4 7LP

4-6PM

£20 Per Person

Golf Xtreme is an adapted version of the game of golf, using safe equipment and introducing young people to the game in a fun, positive and games based environment.

The Golf Xtreme workshop is designed to familiarise secondary school teachers with the Golf Xtreme equipment and how to deliver golf to a large group of students aged 11-18 on a school site.

The GFX equipment is comprised of metal irons and putters and the unique “almost” golf ball, which looks exactly like a real golf ball but only flies 30% of the distance and will not cause any damage on a school site

The GFX Workshop uses games, routines and exercises to help secondary pupils have a positive introduction to the sport. The workshop will also cover the School Games “Super Sixes” format and creating a golf course on the school site and the new concept of “Street Golf!”

Candidates will receive a “one stop shop” GFX teachers manual with all the games, session plans, teaching and safety points.
