Tri Golf is an adapted version of the game of golf, using safe equipment and introducing young people to the game in a fun, positive and games based environment.

Tri Golf was developed to enable golf to be delivered to primary school children by teachers/ volunteers/ coaches within the school environment. A range of fun games based games and activities have been developed along with comprehensive resource material.

 

In order to ensure that Tri Golf equipment is used effectively and safely, a practical workshop has been designed to help deliver Tri Golf successfully within the schools setting.

 

-      Introduce golf to a large group of children in a fun and safe way

-      Use a variety of games cards to maximise inclusion and progression of activity

-      Understand and apply simple games

-      Enjoy enhanced competence and confidence in delivering Tri Golf to Children

-      Have 6 weeks worth of session plans linked to the national curriculum

-      Understand how to deliver Tri Golf Festivals/ Competitions

-      Understand the potential for School/Club links in your area
